The putty works very well. No tacky residue.The putty is ever so slightly moist and fun to play with.
Even if I turned my keyboard upside down and pounded, there were always stuff (like hairs, especially cat hairs) that were left. Some of the stuff was trapped under the keys. It took several passes to get the goo into the all the myriad spaces in the keyboard, but it got the majority of stuff out without popping out any keys in the keyboard.

This does not work at all. Splat is the sound it makes as it fails to clean the keyboard. :o(
